CVCC’s Career Development staff hosted
the second Parent Speaker Series on
Wednesday, February 13 from 7:00 to
8:30. A panel of experts addressed
issues critical for the college-bound
student (and his/her parents) to
consider before leaving for college.
Over 70 parents and students attended
the session to hear these panelists
share their expertise:

Attendees rated the seminar superbly and
expressed their appreciation for the
opportunity to glean such valuable
advice and helpful resources from these
experienced professionals. In addition
to several helpful articles, each family
received a
checklist of “must-have” conversations
before sending their child off to
